PROJECT ST. PATRICK -
preserving the past - forming a future
ST. PATRICK'S RESTORATION PROJECT:
We have been awarded grants amounting to £250,000 from Historic Scotland, Heritage Lottery, and Places of Worship to begin essential repairs to the church roof - the first step in the process of restoring our church to its proper condition. The parish, however, needs to raise £106,000 as its contribution to this first stage in the work.
Concert by the ST. PATRICK'S BAROQUE ENSEMBLE have all been great successes! Everyone commented on the extremely high standad of palying and singing, and the concert have raised well in excess of £1,200 for the campaign.
Look out for details of their next concert in St. Patrick's, scheduled for some time in October 2009
Meanwhile, on Saturday 28 August 2010, some parishioners took part in our 2nd annual 3 -mile sponsored walk - and here's the evidence to prove it!
The finish! And we didn't lose anyone on the way!
